HOW DOES IT WORK?
At Record My Life Story, we will capture your precious memories in a setting that feels just right for you—whether that’s the comfort of your own home, a favourite location, or even our studio.
Once you have chosen your location, we’ll provide you with a selection of thought-provoking questions to consider, or you can create your own. Here are some popular prompts:

Seamless and Personalised
We find that asking a family member or a friend to host the interview works extremely well but should you refer, we can provide one of our professional interviewers to host the conversation.
On the day, a friendly interviewer, ( If requested ) will arrive alongside our recording team. We will set up in a respectful manor so when the time comes to record, you only need to sit down and enjoy the experience. The set time will take approximately 1 hour. The atmosphere will be professional yet relaxed, allowing you to share your story with ease.
If you have chosen the Desert Island Disk experience option ( audio only ) the set up time will take approximately 20 minutes.

We understand that this can be an emotional experience. Our compassionate team are here to listen with empathy and kindness. Rest assured, all your personal information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Once the recording is complete, we will strike down our equipment leaving the location exactly how we found it. We then take your interview back to the studio where we create your Record My life story. This process takes between 2 – 4 weeks. Once completed, you will receive your engraved giftbox consisting of an engraved hard drive where you can play and share your Life story.
